Bloomington North guards Grant Sims and Saikou Jallow made an impact from day one in high school. Their recruitment is thriving. Here are updates on both prospects.

Grant Sims, 6-1 G Bloomington North HS/Team Blaze 2014, recently visited South Alabama and went to their elite camp. Coach Graves told Sims that he will be front and center at the adidas Invitational. He visited Tennessee-Martin on his way back from South Alabama. Sims has offers from Kennesaw State, Miami (OH), Portland, Maryville and UIC. He has also heard from UNC-Asheville and Air Force.

Sims is a strong, athletic, combo guard. He is best when he is getting to the basket off the dribble. He finishes extremely well at the basket. Sims has a good mid-range game. He is a bit streaky from the outside. He has toughness and will get into people defensively.

Saikou Jallow, 6-2 SG Bloomington North HS/Team Blaze 2014, recently visited Ball State. He is contact with St. Louis, Tennessee-Martin, UNC-Asheville, Sam Houston State, University of Pennsylvania, IUPUI and Maryville. He has an offer from Texas-Arlington.

Jallow is athletic. Smooth. Handles well. Solid shooter. He just never dominates. He shows flashes within each game. I would like him to be more aggressive in order to be a D1 prospect.
