Bryant McIntosh opened his recruitment up in July after committing to Indiana State in January. He immediately racked up a huge number of high-major offers. Monday night, McIntosh committed to Northwestern during an in-home visit. Purdue and Iowa were both at open gym tonight to see him. Both of those schools had extended scholarship offers to him.
McIntosh is a combo guard with good size at about 6-4. He has the ability to break defenders down off the dribble. When he is in the lane he utilizes one of the best floaters in the Midwest. He has a scorer's mentality, but will also set-up teammates. He is a very good outside shooter as well. McIntosh will be able to play either guard spot at Northwestern.
McIntosh will join Chicago's Vic Law in the 2014 recruiting class for Northwestern. Law is the first top 100 prospect that Northwestern has ever gotten. McIntosh also had offers from Marquette, Auburn, Florida State, Oregon State, Creighton, Xavier, and Davidson.
