Rashaun Richardson committed to Ball State today during open gym with the coaches in the house. He also had offers from Toledo, Kent State, Robert Morris, and Miami (OH) among others. Ball State made Richardson a priority on the recruiting trail this July.

Richardson is a very athletic combo forward. He is certainly more of a power forward right now with most of his production coming around the rim especially on the offensive glass and in transition. He runs the floor really well for his size. Richardson is a very bouncy athlete in the fact that he can jump well multiple times without much time on the ground. Down the road, his athleticism will allow him to play away from the basket more and more if his skill set continues to develop. His ceiling is much higher than his current production/skill level.
