2015 forward Brennan Gillis of Ben Davis High School (Indianapolis, Ind.) has committed to Northern Kentucky. Gillis committed to NKU after making official visits to Toledo and Northern Kentucky.
Gillis is a 6'5β power forward from Indianapolis. He has played his travel basketball with Pat Mullin's Eric Gordon team throughout high school. Gillis is a lefty that does his best work in the paint. He has also added a mid-range jumper to his repertoire.
The forward made his decision to commit to Northern Kentucky after taking his official to Toledo this weekend. Gillis took his official visit to Northern Kentucky last weekend. He made the trips after playing in football games on Friday night each week.
Gillis said that the decision came down to Northern Kentucky and Toledo. βMe and my family loved everything about them,β said Gillis of Northern Kentucky.
The Indianapolis native is the third player to join the Norse 2015 recruiting class. He joins shooting guard Hagen Tyler (KY) and center Drew McDonald (KY) in the class. Gillis joins former Indiana high school players Tayler Persons (Kokomo), Cole Murray (Delphi), Todd Johnson (Elkhart Memorial), Jordan Garnett (Warren Central) and Dean Danos (Bishop Noll) on the Northern Kentucky roster.
