2015 guard T.J. Henderson committed to IPFW on Monday night. On Friday night, he re-opened his recruitment. Here is more.
De-committing is nothing new just ask Trey Lyles, James Blackmon Jr., Trevon Bluiett and Bryant McIntosh in the 2014 class. Henderson's decision to commit to IPFW immediately before the July evaluation period was surprising. He has a long list of interested schools that were going to watch him in July. Those schools are now back in play.
Henderson tweeted Friday "IPFW is a great school. I made a hasty decision and decided to decommit. I will play out July so that me and my family can make a decision."
Programs like Northern Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, Western Kentucky, New Orleans, Davidson, Miami (OH) and San Jose State will likely observe Henderson on Team Progeny this July. His offer list before committing to IPFW was IUPUI, Buffalo, Kennesaw State and IPFW. I would expect IPFW to continue their recruitment of Henderson, but a de-commitment is a tough thing to overcome.
