Bethel got a true steal when Paul Forman committed on Monday. Formerly homeschooled, Forman has been under the radar throughout his high school career. There was a chance that his recruitment would have spiked while playing for Churubusco High School.
Paul Forman selected Bethel over Huntington University according to his father, Mark. Forman will add to an already impressive roster at Bethel. The size and skill of Forman gives the Pilots a different type of player though.
There were some Division I schools showing interest in the senior forward, but he decided to end his recruitment early. Mark Forman said that Paul picked Bethel for a number of reasons. “He really likes their coaches, players, and academic and spiritual environment,” said Mark Forman.
Forman is a 6-foot-7, stretch 4 with the ability to play inside and outside. Average athlete, but he rebounds well. He has the skill to put the ball on the floor from the perimeter then the touch finish around the basket. Forman is a good outside shooter. He will be a match-up nightmare at Bethel.
