Demetrius Jackson is a 6’1” point guard from Mishawaka Marian. The junior-to-be has seen his recruiting pick up lately after having good performances at the Spiece Run N Slam and the adidas May Classic. Demetrius talked to us about his game and the recruiting process.

IBS: Did you see your recruitment increase after the Spiece Run N Slam?

Demetrius Jackson: “Yeah it picked up a lot. A lot of scouts I guess put out a good word for me.”

IBS: How did you like all of the media attention in Bloomington for the adidas May Classic?

Demetrius Jackson: “I mean, it is always fun. People know that you can compete but you have to stay humble and hungry to get better.”

IBS: Have you had a chance to visit anywhere yet?

Demetrius Jackson: “I’m doing some in June. My freshmen year I visited Xavier, Purdue and Notre Dame. I plan on visiting Michigan State the 21^st. I plan to set-up something with IU for something later this month.”
