Indiana Basketball Source had a chance to watch 2018, 2019 and 2020 Grand Park Premier teams practice Tuesday evening.
The three teams scrimmaged each other at the end of the practice with the winner staying on the court. Normally, this would be a big advantage to the oldest team. The 2018 group certainly had the most size of the three teams. But it was the 2020 group that held court. Wabash's Trenton Daughtry put on a show early. His anticipation and competitiveness were fantastic in this setting. Daughtry was the smallest player on the court but played the biggest. Speaking of competitiveness, Jalen Love made a number of plays on the defensive end for the freshmen. Love finishes through contact on the offensive end as well.
Trent Miller's shooting was on the mark, especially as the scrimmage developed. Miller is a tremendous shooter at 6-foot-3. I'm interested to see what type of spring/summer he has.
