Chris Holtmann and his staff have wasted no time extending offers to players they want at Ohio State. Thursday was a busy day for the staff as a boatload of offers were extended to prospects including some Indiana natives.
Holtmann extended offers to familiar faces Robert Phinisee and Eric Hunter Thursday. Butler recruited both players heavily while Holtmann was in Indianapolis. It looked like the Bulldogs backed off Phinisee a bit once they received a 2017 point guard commitment from Aaron Thompson. It is obvious that Holtmann likes Phinisee's game a lot. Hunter was also a priority for Holtmann at Butler. He is now maintaining that relationship at Ohio State. Hunter was at Purdue's team camp today. He visits Minnesota soon for an unofficial visit.
Here's a look at the other players that Ohio State has offered today or yesterday. It looks like the first offers are going to guards.
