With the Indiana high school basketball season coming to an end Saturday, Indiana Basketball Source reset the 2019 player rankings. The rankings are based off of how the players project to the college level.
The top spot remains with Keion Brooks Jr. He has been Indiana Basketball Source’s top prospect since entering high school. It has become a close race between Brooks and Trayce Jackson-Davis. TJD has made great progress with his game in the last 18 months. It’s nearly a toss-up between the two players now.
Spots three through eight are all very close. Each player has positives going forward as well as drawbacks. This spring and summer should go a long way determining the order of those prospects. Each player is competing on a major circuit this summer.
Overall, the 2019 class in Indiana has great depth in the low-major D1 to NAIA range. It’s a class that small college programs could add major impact players if they start recruiting them early.
