June is always a busy month for unofficial visits as recruits are out of school for the summer and don’t have to travel to AAU tournaments. This June is no different as many players have made multiple visits and some have picked up offers. Here is an update on some of the visits and offers that have happened in the last week.

2012
Dejuan Marrero 6’5 PF Bowman Academy offered by Ball State on Monday at their team camp. Ball State has Tyrae Robinson and Chris Bond on their roster from Bowman already.
Eron Harris 6’4 SG Lawrence North spoke to us Tuesday. He reports offers from IPFW, SIU-E, and Evansville. Along with interest from Western Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville, New Mexico, Xavier, Ball State, Kent State, Wright State, Detroit, Illinois State, IUPUI, Morehead State, and Fordam. Harris said he hasn’t taken any visits due to the high gas prices.
J.T. Yoho 6’5 SG Eastern Greene picked up an offer from Gardner-Webb on Sunday. That is Yoho’s second offer. Bowling Green is his other offer. Yoho will be playing in the Hoosier Shootout to start July.
Jason Smith 6’4 SF Indianapolis Manual visited IPFW on Tuesday. The athletic small forward recently scored 42 points in a summer league game against Pike. He’s a good shooter and athletic, but I’m not sold on his ability to handle the ball at the D1 level. Smith is very weak going to his left-hand.
Kyle Neddenriep reports that D.J. Balentine 6’2 CG Kokomo, Jacobby Bledsoe 5’10 PG Hamilton Southeastern, Brent Calhoun 6'8 C Warren Central and Jared Drew 6’6 SF Cathedral visited Wright State Tuesday. Drew recently picked up an offer from Loyola.
2013
Leo Svete 6’4 SG Penn was offered by Western Michigan last Thursday. Svete visited Bucknell as well, where he has an offer.
Demetrius Jackson 6’1 PG Mishawaka Marian visited IU Tuesday. Jackson went to Notre Dame and Michigan State last week. He also plans to visit Michigan this week.
Jaylon Brown 6’0 PG Fishers visited Ohio on Monday and took an unofficial to IU a couple of weeks ago. Brown also had plans to visit Xavier in June but wasn’t able to find time to make the trip.
Zavier Turner 5’9 PG Pike visited West Virginia like he said he would in our interview with him earlier in June.
Brenton Scott 6'0 PG Northrop visited Ohio today (Tuesday). He commented that he really liked the campus and the coaching staff. Ohio was the only place he visited during June. He reports offers from Ohio, IPFW, Ball State, and Butler. He has also been hearing from Illinois, Missouri State, and Miami (OH). Scott also commented that distance, coaching staff, and possibility to play as a freshmen will be the biggest factors in his college decision.
2014
