Lawrence Central's Jacob LaRavia re-opened his recruitment Tuesday night. He had signed with Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, but they fired Jon Harris last week.
LaRavia had a breakout spring around this time last year with Gametime-Thomas. He carried that into D1 offers in July then committed/signed with SIU-E in the fall. His finalists at that point were Evansville, Jacksonville, and SIU-E.
The 2019 forward led LC in scoring as a senior. The Bears were a top three team in the state most of the year. LC also won the tough Sectional 10 with LaRavia playing a major part.
LaRavia is a big forward with a silky smooth outside shot. He shot 43% on 108 three-point attempts this season. He also averaged 6.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.3 steals per game this season. He went from a bench player for Lawrence Central last year to an Indiana All-Star candidate.
LaRavia is going to become a hot commodity in the recruiting market.
