Ball State has extended an offer to 2021 Blackford guard Luke Brown. It is the second scholarship offer for Brown.
He received his first D1 offer from Iona University in the middle of February. Brown is chasing the all-time scoring record in Indiana high school basketball. He averaged 35 points per game as a sophomore and currently has 1,222 career points.
Ball State is putting an emphasis on shooting. The Cardinals have Luke Bumbalough and Lucas Kroft coming to campus in the 2019 recruiting class. Both of those players are known for their shooting. Brown would fit in with those guys as they all have deep range.
Brown will get a chance to prove himself this travel season as he plays with the main Indiana Elite group, Indiana Elite 2021. He will get to play against D1 competition on a regular basis. That does not happen at Blackford.
Here is a glimpse of his game and shooting.
