With one AAU tournament down and the evaluation period starting this weekend, college coaches have been out in-force this week preparing for the upcoming tournaments. Here is a report on some of that activity.

Sean Sellers 6’5” SF 2014 and Bryant McIntosh 6’3” SG 2014, both of Greensburg High School, had Ball State, Indiana State, and Michigan in for a workout on Monday. Both players played well at IndyBall and both are on the mid-major/high-major borderline.

Jaylon Brown 6’0” PG Fishers 2013 had Wichita State in to see him on Monday. Illinois’ new staff has picked up their interest in Brown, they offered him while they were at Ohio.

Eric Davidson 6’1” PG Hamilton Southeastern 2014 had Ball State in to see him on Tuesday. Davidson is under the radar because he split time on junior varsity and varsity this season for Hamilton Southeastern. He’s a really good shooter and also possesses the quickness to get into the lane.

Sam Logwood 6’6” SF Lawrence North 2014 had Ball State in for a workout on Monday. Logwood is a great athlete and plays above the rim at all times. His perimeter skills need to improve.

Aaron Brennan 6’6” PF Guerin Catholic 2014 had a really good weekend including a 25-point effort in the championship game. Brennan had Ball State, Butler, and Notre Dame at open gym on Tuesday.

Grant Sims 6’1” PG Bloomington North 2014 and Saikou Jallow 6’2” SG Bloomington North 2014 will have IUPUI at their open gym Wednesday. Both played well this weekend, but I was more impressed with Sims.
