Scouting Report | Davidson is one of the best shooters in the state. He has a quick release along with a repetitive shooting motion. He rarely misses when he gets a clean look. Although Davidson is an adequate ball-handler, he is more of a shooting guard in a point guard's body. He does have good feet on the defensive end. His slight build has been a weakness on the defensive end, but he has started to add muscle in the upper body. Through 17 games of the 2013-2014 season, Davidson is shooting 54% (52 of 97) from 3 along with 92% from the free-throw line and 53% from 2. If he was a little taller and/or stronger, Davidson would be an easy D1 prospect with his shooting ability. He still has a chance to be a D1 player, but he is more of a D2 or NAIA prospect right now. |
