Bloomington High School South and Indiana Elite 2020 guard Anthony Leal announced that he is down to Stanford and Indiana for his college choices with a tweet Thursday.
Leal has been one of the top prospects in the state by Indiana Basketball Source since entering high school. Along with being a good player, Leal is a high-academic prospect. That brought schools like Stanford and Northwestern into the recruiting picture. Leal has already taken an official visit to Stanford as he took a trip to campus in his junior year.
As a Bloomington native, Leal has grown up as an Indiana fan. The Hoosiers recruited Leal since Archie Miller took over the program, Indiana took its time in extending an offer to Leal, and that's why schools like Cincinnati and Ohio State offered him in the last few weeks. Schools tried to take advantage of the opening.

Thank you to every coach who recruited and believed in me, but through God’s grace I am proud to announce my final two schools: pic.twitter.com/dQr4R3helV
Leal finished his club season well. He averaged 16 points per game for Indiana Elite in Los Angeles. His shooting was a catalyst for his strong play as he shot 13-21 from three-point range. That is a key for his game at the next level. He must be an exceleent spot-up shooter, and he has shown that ability throughout high school.
