Indianapolis native and Division II all-American Courvoisier McCauley tweeted that he will transfer to DePaul today. (McCauley as a junior in high school)
McCauley received an offer from Missouri yesterday and many high-major programs were reaching out. Despite the interest, McCauley decided on DePaul. As it stands, McCauley will have to sit one year then have two years of eligibility remaining. There's a chance he gets a waiver or the transfer rule is amended.
This past year, McCauley was a D2 all-American at Lincoln Memorial. He made the all-freshman team for his conference then made a huge leap this season. As a sophomore, he averaged 20 points per game and shot 43.6 percent from three. Here is the full article on McCauley's all-American honor.
In high school, McCauley was a natural scorer for Indy Manual. He used his bruising strength to bull his way to the basket. As a senior, his shooting became more consistent. The combination of those attributes allowed him to average 27.7 points per game.
Here is my most memorable moment of McCauley in high school. He hits a double clutch three from the volleyball line to send Manual to Indianapolis City Tournament championship game.

I was able to see McCauley six times during his senior year. Here's his cumulative shot chart from those games.
After high school, McCauely briefly attended Woodstock Academy and then finished his post-graduate season at Redemption Christian. He picked up D1 offers during that season but selected D2 powerhouse Lincoln Memorial as his destination. Now, he is headed to the Big East.
