On Saturday night, new University of Indianapolis coach Paul Corsaro landed two transfers - Toledo's Aaron Etherington and McKendree's Jakobie Robinson.
Etherington follows his brother's, Alex, footsteps as he transfers to UIndy. Alex played in 82 games for the Greyhounds after transferring from Indiana State. Aaron comes to UIndy after a season at the University of Toledo. He redshirted, so Aaron will have four years of eligibility. He was the 16th ranked player in Indiana Basketball Source's 2019 ratings.
Robinson, a Warren Central graduate, comes to UIndy after a season at McKendree. As a freshman, he averaged 7.4 points and 5.6 rebounds for McKendree. The lanky forward finished 39th in Indiana Basketball Source's 2019 rankings.
Indianapolis is replacing its top three scorers as Trevor Lakes transferred and Marcus Latham and Jimmy King graduated. Etherington and Robinson will help fill those voids.
