Wednesday afternoon, 2022 wing Tae Davis was offered by Indiana. The Indianapolis product will be transferring to Warren Central this coming year as his father, D'Andre Davis Sr., was recently hired as the Warriors head coach.
Davis has one of the highest ceilings in Indiana's 2022 class. For the high-major level, he has the physical tools, athleticism, and skill foundation to be a big-time player. This season, he was a secondary player for Lawrence Central as Indiana All-Stars Dre Davis and Nijel Pack led the way. As a sophomore, he was still a key piece for one of the top teams in the state. He averaged 11 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.

Davis already has offers from Purdue, Butler, Xavier, Louisville, and Nebraska. At this point, Louisville is the preceived leader because his brother, Dre, is going to be a freshman there this season. For now, his recruitment remains wide open.

There is uncertainty around the club season, but if Davis plays, he will be with Indy Heat's 16U group.
