(CJ Gunn from fall of 2019)
So far this July, Indiana Basketball Source has been able to track six Indy Heat 16U games. The team is filled with D1 prospects as seven players on the roster already have D1 offers. Here's a look at each player's game and projection.
Andrew Leeper - 6-5 - PF - Fort Wayne (IN) Homestead - Level: Low-Major
Offers: Indiana Tech
Best offensive role: Spot-up shooter
Defensive role: Anticipation
Notes: Lefty, 6-4/6-5 forward. Leeper has been a good spot-up shooter for Indy Heat. He doesn't create his own shot but is a good shooter. He will score in transition and attack close outs as well. He's been an active defender that can block shots and play the passing lanes around the paint for Indy Heat. His versatility has been impressive even in limited minutes. He would be a great small college player with the upside to be a D1 player.
