2022 wing RaSheed Jones had a strong sophomore year for Marion and continued to play well for Team Teague this summer. The lanky guard has scholarship offers from New Orleans and Winthrop with a handful of other D1 schools contacting him on a regular basis.
As a sophomore, Jones averaged 15.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. He played with ultra-scoring threats Jalen Blackmon and JK Thomas. Blackmon tore his ACL after playing eight games. Thomas and Jones proved to be an excellent one-two punch. For the season, Jones was 73-173 (42 percent) from three-point distance. Over the summer, he had similar success with Team Teague. If he has breathing room, Jones is going to knock down the outside shot.
