2022 guards CJ Gunn and Leland Walker recently received new high-major offers. Gunn was offered by Wake Forest, while Walker gained an offer from Providence. 

Both 2022 guards have seen their recruitments soar this summer and fall. Gunn was the go-to scorer for the 16U Indy Heat squad. Walker had multiple breakout performances from Team Teague 2022. Behind that production, Gunn has offers from Indiana, Cincinnati, Kansas State, Ball State, Valpo, and Alabama A&M. Walker has offers from the likes of Xavier, Middle Tennessee State, and others. 

Gunn has established himself as the second best in-state 2022 prospect behind Jalen Washington. His combination of size, athleticism, and skill foundation has led to that ranking. He is a top player now but his future is even brighter. With the graduation of Tony Perkins, Gunn will be counted to produce each game this season for Lawrence North.

Walker had an excellent sophomore year for North Central before having many big games during the club season. As long as his shooting and decision making continue to progress, Walker will keep receiving high-major offers as many Big Ten programs are keeping tabs on him.
