The AAU season finally kicks off for most Indiana teams this weekend. Here is a look at some of the top players and teams that will be competing in the IndyBall.com event. It should be a really good event as it usually is.
Eric Gordon All-Stars 2013
EG is loaded with high-major commits. Collin Hartman, Devin Davis, Zak Irvin, V.J. Beachem, and Basil Smotherman have already committed to high-major programs. They also have a big addition in the middle this season with Trevor Thompson, who will be going to IMG Academies next year for a post-graduate season.

Indiana Elite-South
Indiana Elite-South had a lot of success last season and is expected to be just as good this season. They are led by Michigan-commit Mark Donnal (Wayne, OH). IE-South also has 2014 prospect Troy Spears who is verbally committed to New Mexico. A new addition to their team is Hamilton Heights’ Alex Etherington, who I expect to have a big AAU campaign.

Martin’s Wolverines
Martin’s Wolverines is a Cincinnati-based team with a handful of Indiana players. Jaylon Brown headlines the Indiana talent on the team along with Cole Murray (Delphi) and Derius Duncan (Noblesville). Ben Davis’ Tony Wills was also listed on the roster, but he is on multiple rosters so we will follow where he ends up.

Indiana Elite-Stars
The Stars should have a very nice team. They are led by Jordan Pickett, Joe Fagan, and Mo Evans along with Junior All-Star Sam Philpott. Richard Freeman, John McCloud, and Michael Clements should provide a solid frontline. The Stars have a host of D1 prospects and none of them are currently committed.

Indiana Elite-Black
Mike Crawford is the biggest prospect on Club Elite-Black. He has finally started to get more recognition after scoring 40 points against Bowman Academy in the semi-state. Chase Dutra will likely turn some heads this spring and summer, but he will probably end up playing football at the next level.

King’s Court
King’s Court should be a solid team. Tony Wills is listed on their roster, but is also listed on a couple others. Taishaun Johnson could be poised for a great spring.
