Top-ranked 2022 Indiana prospect Jalen Washington is off to a strong start this spring for Meanstreets after leading Gary West Side to a 4A semi-state appearance as a junior. Indiana Basketball Source watched Washington and Meanstreets in Louisville and Fort Wayne and caught up with Washington about his recruitment and game.

 

Washington, a 6’8” power forward, is showing his complete game for Meanstreets. Game to game, Washington has been a consistent force for the Nike EYBL team. Despite no EYBL this spring, Meanstreets and Washington have faced staunch competition. It has shown Washington’s strengths and weaknesses.
