Things have started to pick up in June, with the NCAA recruiting calendar back to normal for D1 programs. Here is a look at the recent activity.
2023 Crispus Attucks and G3 All-Indy forward
Jalen Hooks received an offer from
Butler on an unofficial visit today. Hooks was out the last six weeks with a stress fracture, but he will play in the Pangos All-American camp next week.
Hooks’ AAU teammate,
Xavier Booker, was offered by TCU at the end of May. He will visit
Purdue,
Illinois,
Louisville,
Ohio State, and
Indiana this month. The lanky forward/center had a great spring and looks to build on that this summer. He will also attend the Pangos All-American Camp.
Staying in 2023, Myles Colvin was offered
Purdue this week. The Heritage Christian guard had an outstanding sophomore season. He is a big, strong guard that finishes above the rim in transition and knocks down threes in the half-court. Myles is the son of former NFL and
Purdue star Rosevelt Colvin.
2022 Central Noble and
Indiana Elite guard Connor Essegian received a Western
Michigan offer while on an unofficial visit. He is going to have a busy June visiting college campuses. Places like Loyola, Belmont, Furman, and
Valparaiso will likely receive visits from Essegian.
Guerin Catholic’s Kaleb Edwards will walk on at
IUPUI. Edwards had a great senior year – 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists. With his size and athleticism, he will help the
IUPUI program.
