Our top 2014 prospect, Trey Lyles, has de-committed from Indiana University according to his high school coach Jason Delaney. Lyles is a top 10 prospect in the nation and committed to Indiana before ever playing a high school game. He will now be recruited by the national powers like Kentucky, Syracuse, Kansas, Florida, and all of the rest of them.
Lyles is extremely skilled inside and outside for a young player over 6-8. He can handle the ball like a guard and shoots it very consistently from the outside. One of his only criticisms in the past was that he was reluctant to battle inside and rebound at a high-level like his body and athleticism would allow. That seems to be improving though and it looks like he is willing to get in the paint more lately.
