On Wednesday, it was announced that Ron Patterson would be transferring from Indiana University after failing to gain admission into the school. Patterson released a statement on Thursday stating that he will not be a part of the Indiana program this season. The biggest thing in the release was that he mentioned that he is eligible for this season. Patterson has now decided to attend Brewster Academy. Indiana-native Mitch McGary has played the last two seasons at Brewster. They were the 2012 national prep school champions.

Patterson was our 8th ranked college prospect in the 2012 class. He is a great competitor and can impact the game on the defensive end with his athleticism and toughness.
