We took a look at the top performances from week one of the Metro Indy Basketball Fall League Monday. Today, we are going to look at the top surprises. The biggest surprise of the week was Aaron Siler. We included him on the top performances list though. Here are six other prospects that made a new impression on us this week.

Taylor Chilton, 6’5” PF Lawrence Central HS 2013, looks much improved from a season ago. He showed off a face-up game and got to the basket off the dribble a few times. He looks like he is in better shape and moving better than he did last year. Chilton played in the post last season for Lawrence Central, it will be interesting to see if he steps away from the basket this year. D2/NAIA/D3 prospect.
Kole Brinegar, 6’2” SG Noblesville HS 2013, is a strong guard that did a great job of getting to the basket Sunday. He has pretty good quickness and plays with a lot of toughness. He is not afraid to put his body on the line. Brinegar is another small college prospect.
Carter Skaggs, 6’4” SF Pioneer HS 2015, had a big game Sunday, hitting a handful of 3’s. He is a sophomore that we have not seen much so far. We will take a closer look at him this week.
Chandler Kemp, 6’5” SF Westfield HS 2014, showed a versatile game this week. He played with a lot of energy and has good length. He’s a decent athlete and looks like he moves pretty well. Our first impression is that he is a small college prospect, but we will need to see more of him.
Alex Yurack, 6’3” F Rushville HS 2016, has good length and seems to be a good athlete. He looks mature for his age, so I’m not sure he has much growing left. He excelled around the rim and slashing to the rim this week. Yurack is another player that we will be taking a closer look at in the weeks to come.
Eli Walton, 6’2” F Southport HS 2016, is a great athlete for a freshman. He has a great wingspan as well so he plays much bigger than 6’2”. Walton was a superior athlete to everyone he played against Sunday. We will have a better evaluation of him when he faces some similar athletes to himself. {/iACL}
