We stopped at Fishers High School on Monday for open gym. They have a handful of college prospects including our top available player in the state for the 2013 class, Jaylon Brown. Fishers also has a great group of high-academic, small college prospects.

Jaylon Brown, 6’0” PG 2013, is the top un-committed player in the 2013 in Indiana. He recently had a 50 point game in the Metro Indy Fall League. Brown is still learning to be a point guard, but he has made great strides in that area. Another drawback to his game was his inconsistent outside shooting. He has worked on his footwork and it looks to be paying off.
Jon Fleming, 5’8” PG 2013, is a player that we really liked over the spring and summer. He is smart, tough, and can handle pressure against good athletes. Fleming makes good decisions with the ball and is a pure point guard. He can score when he needs to and shoots it well from the outside, but looks to set-up teammates first. Fleming is a high-academic prospect with a G.P.A. over 3.8. He would be a great pickup for any D2/NAIA/D3 program.
Sean Lonergan, 6’5” F 2013, was really impressive in June for Fishers. He is an inside/outside threat. He shoots it well from the outside and has the quickness to beat bigger opponents off the dribble. Lonergan has good footwork and moves in the post as well. Lonergan is a high-academic prospect as well. D2/NAIA/D3 programs should be on him.
Larry Dollison, 6’1” PG 2013, was on junior varsity as a junior but has really improved. He had some good games over the summer and caught my eye. I did not remember him from Fishers, but that is because he was on J.V. He has good size for a point guard and is pretty quick. He can also knock down open shots from the outside. Dollison is another small college prospect.
C.J. Johnson, 6’4” SF 2013, mainly a shooter, but can do a few other things as well. He has good length and is pretty strong. He’ll be able to play multiple positions at the small college level. Johnson is another high-academic prospect.
Kortland Townsend, 5’10” PG 2014, was mainly a shooter in the past and took some ill-advised shots. It looks like he is trying to get to the basket more often now. Townsend needs to continue to improve his ball-handling to be a small college prospect down the road.
Tyree Coe, 6’3” SF 2013, could be a surprise player for Fishers this season. Coach Leonard raves about how much he has improved. He has good length and is a good athlete. He knocked down a few outside shots while we were there. Coe might be a player that really comes into his own in a year or two. That fact could make him a small college or JUCO prospect in my eyes.
Devin Chaudion, 6’3” SG 2014, runs cross country and was not at the open gym.
Josh Lloyd, 5’11” PG 2015, is a point guard to keep an eye on as well. He also plays a fall sport and was not at the open gym. {/iACL}
