Scouting Report | had a very good summer and continued his strong play Sunday night. The 6-7, Welmer is a perimeter player with a smooth outside shot. The question mark for me has been, “Can he guard on the perimeter?” Sunday night, he guarded some athletes on the perimeter and did a good job against them. He also was able to get to the rim off the dribble when defenses were out of position. He has the talent, but he will need to put on muscle before he can reach his potential. |
