Mack Mercer, 6’9” PF Plymouth (2014), will visit Miami (OH) this weekend. He does not currently hold a scholarship offer from them. Mercer has offers from Ball State, Indiana State, Valparaiso, Kent State, Vermont, Rice, and Boston College.

I expect his recruitment to sky rocket this spring. He has a great offensive skill set. The only thing holding him from collecting multiple high-major offers right now is the question, "Can he defend and rebound about the elite athletes that play the high-major power forward position?"

Joel Okafor, 5’10” PG Richmond (2015), will visit Western Michigan Friday. He has an offer from them and he also has an offer from Wright State. He plans to visit Michigan State next week. IUPUI has also been in to see him this fall.

Okafor is one of the strongest point guards in Indiana regardless of class. He is an explosive athlete off the dribble. He needs to improve his decision making with the ball and his outside shooting. {/iACL}
