Josh James, a 2012 graduate of Andrean High School in northwest Indiana, reports to us that he has verbally committed to IUPUI. He originally signed with St. Joe's College in Rensselaer, Indiana last spring. James decided to go to prep school over the summer.

James will team up with Justus Stanback of West Lafayette High School for IUPUI. Stanback committed to the Jaguars last month. The two will give IUPUI a much needed size boost to their roster as both players are in the 6-9 range. James and Stanback will be pick and pop candidates for IUPUI. Stanback has consistent range passed the 3-point line. Stanback's shooting ability is his greatest attribute. James is more comfortable in the mid-range right now.

Josh James is currently at Quakerdale Promise Academy (IA). He had D1 offers from Eastern Illinois and Chicago State before picking IUPUI.
