Cathedral point guard Mo Evans has committed to IPFW. Evans officially visited the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee last weekend. He took official visits to Northeastern and IPFW before making his decision. Earlier this fall, Evans reported to us that he was going to play out the season before making a decision but he had a change of heart. He said it "just felt right," when asked what made him change that plan.
"I wanted to go to a place where I know I can come in and will be given a chance to make an impact early," Evans stated about why he decided on IPFW. He also said that staying close to home played a part in his decision.
Evans saw his recruitment blow-up during the adidas Invitational in July. He had some huge games against high-major and mid-major point guards. He is a very good athlete and will finish above the rim at times. Evans might have the best court vision in the 2013 class in Indiana. He anticipates when his teammates will be open and has a variety of passes to get them the ball when they need it. He should be an immediate impact player at IPFW.
