Greensburg's Bryant McIntosh verbally committed to Indiana State. He is only the third player in the 2014 class in Indiana to verbally commit so far. McIntosh had scholarship offers from Kent State, Western Michigan, Buffalo, Wright State, Northern Kentucky, Miami (OH), Ball State, and Kennesaw State. Indiana State was his first offer. He also visited Indiana State's campus more than any other school during the recruiting process. New Mexico and Gonzaga were showing interest before he selected Indiana State.
McIntosh is a solid athlete at 6-feet 3-inches. He will be able to play both guard positions in the Missouri Valley. McIntosh can play with the ball and fill the facilitator role or play off the ball as a scorer. He is a very good outside shooter that is capable of hitting 7 or 8 in any game. He has a variety of dribble moves to get into the lane in a non-straight line fashion. Once he is in the lane, McIntosh probably has the best floater in the state right now. He is consistent with his floater and knows how to get it off against shot blockers.
McIntosh would have picked up more high-major interest this summer and likely would have received a high-major offer. He should be a great fit at Indiana State. Indiana State is 9-5 on the season. McIntosh is currently our 8th best college prospect in the 2014 class.
