Etherington committed to Kansas State over the summer before de-committing near signing day in November. He is currently averaging 18 points per game and about 6 rebounds. He is leaning towards prep school for next year to attract more high-major programs. IMG Academy (FL) and Brewster Academy are his top options for prep school.

Etherington is a high-major athlete with a college-ready frame. His skill set has improved greatly over the last couple of years, but more consistency is needed in his outside shot. He is only shooting 30% from 3 so far this season. A year at prep school could elevate his game to the next level.
