Recently, small colleges have snagged quality 2021 prospects across the state. Here is a look at the biggest small college commitments over the last month.
Huntington is rolling
Under first-year head coach Kory Alford, the Foresters are putting together a great 2021 class. Before coaching a game, Alford was able to grab D1 prospects Landen Jordan and Lane Sparks. Jordan and Sparks have D1 talent, but Huntington was able to capitalize on the recruiting calendar and pandemic keeping D1s from seeing them in person. Jordan is a rim-finishing forward that is an excellent rebounder. His size and athleticism should immediately translate to the NAIA level. Sparks is a natural scorer that likes to get to the basket. The lefty is a solid shooter but relied more on his slashing ability and pull-up game than spot-up shooting. He should give Huntington a scoring punch right when he arrives on campus.
