Amonte Allen-Johnson – Grand Blanc (Mich.)

Allen-Johnson was fun to watch. He is a lead guard with a strong build and wide shoulders. Allen-Johnson played hard throughout each game and was always in attack mode. He is a point guard that protects the ball well in traffic. He was constantly getting to the basket off the dribble. He showed a solid floater game and finished with his off hand. Allen-Johnson has D1 potential.

Andrew Turnquist – Lakeland (Mich)

Turnquist was one of the biggest surprises of the camp. He was unknown to me before the event, but he made a major impression. He’s a big power forward/center at 6’7” with a longer wingspan. He was extremely active on the glass and scored around the basket on a regular basis. He also showed a solid outside shot when he had time. Turnquist might not grow much more, but his skill level is high. That should put him on the radar of D1 schools.
