It was a matchup of ranked teams. The game lived up to the billing, as the lead changed hands nine times with the largest margin being seven points in the fourth quarter.
The difference in the game was the free throw line, as Attucks outscored Brebeuf 21-7 at the stripe to overcome 8-20 three point shooting by the Braves. Four Tigers scored in double figures, with Derrick Briscoe leading the way with 14, Micah Poole scoring 13, Jamal Harris adding 12, and forward Jaiquan Edwards notching 10 points.
Brebeuf was led by senior guard Myja White, who scored 19 on the strength of 5-8 shooting from behind the arc. Forward Brennan Fitzgerald had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Brebeuf finishes the year at 14-9, while Attucks moves on to play Broad Ripple in a semifinal on Friday.

Caleb Brown added 16 points and Wyatt Gordon nearly recorded a double-double with 13 points and 9 rebounds. The Rockets were playing without starting guard Amil-lion Wilburn, and his status for Friday night is unknown.
