Friday night's Marion County Tournament semifinals are set after the second round was played on Wednesday night.

On the opening night, there were a few near upsets in the Marion County Tournament. Brebeuf was leading Lawrence Central heading into the fourth quarter. North Central was with Lawrence North for a major portion of the game. Speedway kept it close with Ben Davis.

The favorites escaped night one and held true on Wednesday night as well. Lawrence North took care of Decatur Central, 60-47. Ben Davis snuck passed Franklin Central 62-58. Lawrence Central handled Southport, 67-53, and Pike beat Park Tudor, 56-47.

At Southport, LN will play Ben Davis at 6:30 before LC plays Pike. Lawrence Central and Pike played a nailbiter on December 20. LC won 65-63. The Red Devils have continued to play well after that loss. 

The Marion County Tournament semifinals are always a fun time, and this year should be no different.
