No. 7 Culver Academies travelled to Indianapolis to face No. 4 Crispus Attucks. It was a great game with a huge performance from Indiana University signee Trey Galloway.

Galloway didn't waste time getting to work as he scored seven points in the first quarter. But Galloway's efforts were enough to give Culver Academies the lead because seniors Sincere McMahon, Chris Chinn, and Jason Hall were on their games. McMahon and Chinn each scored five points then Hall hit a runner from three-point range at the quarter buzzer.

Early in the second period, McMahon scored but was hit with a technical foul. On the ensuing possession, Galloway finished an alley oop dunk from Deontae Craig. After Attucks came up empty on its possession, Galloway finished a backdoor layup to cut Culver's deficit to two points.

Attucks is one of the best teams in 4A for a reason. The Tigers answered with a 13-0 run and the scoring was spread across Hall, McMahon, and Tyran Rodgers. It gave Attucks a 35-20 advantage. Galloway tried keep Culver in it by scoring five points late in the half, but Rodgers connected on a three-pointer in the final minute to push the Attucks lead back to 40-26.

With 7:22 remaining in the third, Hall scored to extend Attucks' lead to 42-26. That was the largest lead of the game. Craig took a pass from Desi Martello and finished in the lane. Seconds later, Galloway took a defensive rebound and scored on the other end. It was the start of The Trey Galloway Show. He knocked down a three at the 5:22 mark to cut the Culver deficit to 11 points. He spent the rest of the quarter slashing to the basket as Attucks couldn't keep him out of the paint.

In total, Galloway scored 16 points in the third quarter. It could have been even more, but he missed two of three free throws with 0.3 seconds on the clock. He outscored Attucks 16-10 by himself, and CMA cut its deficit to 50-46 heading to the fourth.

To begin the fourth quarter, Attucks regained its footing. McMahon hit a three off an offensive rebound from Qu'Shawn Ware. The triple put Attucks up seven with under six minutes to play.

Facing a hole, Craig scored on back to back possessions to pull Culver back within three. Rodgers had a strong performance on senior night for Attucks. He grabbed an offensive rebound and put it back before Craig scored inside again.

Down three, Galloway drove to the lane and found Anthony Goeb in the corner for a three. Goeb had not scored before the game-tying shot. On the next CMA possession, Galloway dropped off a pass to Nick Hittle for another three to put the Eagles up one.

Follwoing a free throw by Hall, Culver worked the clock. Galloway saw the sea part and drove to the paint. He was fouled on his shot with a minute left but missed both shots. On the other end, Attucks wasn't able to hold for the last shot either. Chris Chinn's shot was off the mark with 26 seconds. Hittle was fouled while grabbing the rebound.

Hittle hit the first before missing the second, but Craig was there for the offensive board. Culver wasted 10 seconds before Martello was fouled. He made both to both CMA up 63-60.

Martello nearly gave the lead right back as he bumped McMahon on a three-point attempt. But McMahon only made one of three free throws.

Hittle added another free throw to give Culver Academies the 64-61 win.

Galloway led Culver with 35 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. He was 12-19 from the field. Deontae Craig added 13 points and nine rebounds. Nick Hittle produced late and finished with seven points and seven rebounds.

Sincere McMahon led Crispus Attucks with 19 points. Jason Hall had 13 points. Tyran Rodgers tallied eight points and nine rebounds. Jaylen Carson had eight points, and Chris Chinn recorded seven.
