(RaSheed Jones propelled Elevation to a win)

Indiana Basketball Source's Jeff Schoenle spent Saturday crisscrossing Fort Wayne for a makeshift tripleheader. Over the three games, there were a dozen D1 prospects and plenty of small college candidates. Elevation Prep vs. Blackhawk Christian, Lawrence North vs. Snider, and Winchester vs. Luers are recapped below.

Elevation Prep got 25 points from wing RaSheed Jones and 22 points from Reggie Ward, all of which came in the second half, to hold off Blackhawk Christian Saturday afternoon.

Marcus Davidson scored 11 of his 15 in the first quarter for Blackhawk Christian, who got as close as a single point in the second half but never was able to grab the lead. Zane Burke led the Braves with 28 points while Caleb Furst scored 21 of his 23 points after halftime. The Braves were 12/19 from behind the arc as a team, as Burke hit four while Davidson and Jake Boyer each hit three.

It was simply too much athleticism from Elevation, who hit 13 three-pointers of their own, with four apiece from Jones, Ward, and guard Tariq Humes. Elevation Prep also outrebounded Blackhawk Christian by ten and forced the Braves into 14 turnovers, many of which led directly to points.

It was the second straight defeat for Blackhawk Christian, who last to Cathedral on Friday night.

Lawrence North rode hot shooting from CJ Gunn, and a plethora of dunks from DJ Hughes, and 27 assists to a runaway 95-70 win over Snider Saturday evening.

Gunn, who committed to Indiana at the beginning of the week, started hot by hitting four of his first five three-point attempts on his way to nine made threes overall. The junior guard scored a game-high 33 points. Butler signee DJ Hughes also made plenty of noise, as the forward registered ten dunks in the game on his way to 12/13 shooting from the field. The 6'6 senior was never challenged inside against a Snider team that routinely plays five guards.

Shamar Avance scored 24 points as well for the Wildcats, and Avance also chipped in with seven assists. The leader in that category for LN was Kayden Beatty, who registered 12 assists to just one turnover despite not taking a single field goal attempt for the game. The Wildcats tallied 27 assists as a team to just 11 turnovers in a fast-paced game that saw the teams combine to hit 23 three-pointers.

Snider put a pair over the 20 point plateau, led by senior wing Jade Moore's 27. Moore went 6/11 from behind the arc and needed just 14 shots for his 27 points, 20 of which came after halftime. Junior guard Karson Jenkins added 22 on just 12 shots, hitting four three-pointers of his own. Snider couldn't overcome a deficit on the glass, as Lawrence North doubled up the Panthers on the backboard 30-15.
