Roster Breakdown:
Jaylon Brown 6’0” PG 2013 Brown is an explosive athlete. He jumps in a similar way that Chrishawn Hopkins does...effortless and way higher than you ever expected. I would like him to attack the basket more and use his athletic ability to score at will. Right now, he is more of a shooting guard than a point guard. His decision making is questionable. He is still learning when he needs to score and when he needs to facilitate to others. High-major tools, but not a high-major prospect yet.
Tyler Alderman 6’8” PF 2012 (Jacksonville signee) Alderman is a stretch 4 that can play inside and outside. He signed with Jacksonville in November.
Joe Retic 6’4” SF 2012 Retic is a skilled "glue guy" type of player. He is a good athlete, pretty strong, passes the ball well. He just does anything the team needs. Retic also showed a nice shooting touch from the outside and finished a lay-up against tough contact. I'm not sure he is quite to the D1 level (he has a couple of reported offers), but could be a nice addition to a lot of D2/NAIA programs
Devin Chaudion 6’2” SG 2014 I’ve only have had one good look at Chaudion. It looks like he has a chance to be a pretty good player. He needs more strength to be a D1 prospect. Chaudion didn’t look very explosive off the dribble plus his release was on the slow side. Low-majors should have him on their radars.
C.J. Johnson 6’3” SG 2013 Mainly a shooter, didn’t get to concentrate on him very much. Looks like he is heading towards the D2/NAIA level.
Sean Lonergan 6’5” SF 2013 Long, skinny shooter almost like 2011 Fishers graduate Ryan Rebholz who is now playing well from D2 St. Joe’s College.
Jon Fleming 5’8” PG 2013 Steady point guard that has some quickness although he is undersized. He finished against contact nicely in the Warren Central game. He is like a NAIA/D3 prospect.
J.P. Pena 6’1” SG 2012 Pena has been a steady contributor for Fishers for 3 years. He almost sat out this season to concentrate on baseball, but decided to play his senior year after all. He would be a D2/NAIA prospect if he didn’t got D1 for baseball.{/iACL}
