Week 2 of the Metro Indy Fall Basketball League is in the books. Devin Davis, Jr. stole the show once again. He had a great first week and he might have been better this week. Davis had a SportsCenter top 10 type tip-dunk in one of the games. His overall game has been very impressive.
The surprise of the second week and maybe the whole league so far as been Cam Denny 6'6 PF Bedford North Lawrence 2013. He is a good athlete, can run well, handles it well, and can catch and shoot to 19 feet. I look forward to watching him closer over the next few weeks. He should definitely be on mid-major and low-major radars though.

2012
Tyler Alderman 6'9 PF Fishers-Alderman is up and down. He will make a nice, reverse pivot 15 footer and then will be paper soft on the defensive end. He is not always willing to rebound especially not out of his area. He has the talent to be a mid-major prospect but is closer to a low-major stretch because of his lack of toughness down low.
Greg Gardner 6'4 G Chatard- Alabama-Huntsville got a really good one in Gardner. He does everything well and shoots it from the outside extremely well. He had a really good spring and summer. Garnder likely would have picked up a D1 offer or two if he would have waited.
DJ Clare 6'4 SG Covenant Christian- Clare is an athletically gifted player that certainly passes the eye test. He has good enough handles to get to the rim off the dribble against good defenders. He is at least a D2/NAIA prospect if not higher. I would like to watch him closer though.
2013
Collin Hartman 6'6 SF Cathedral-The Indiana commit shot the ball really well Sunday night. It seems like he is better shooting off the dribble than he is off the catch. He can be very passive offensively, but when he is aggressive, Hartman is tough to stop.
Cole Murray 6'7 SF Delphi-Murray is now 6'7", up from about 6'5" this time last year. Murray is a great shooter that will also rebound. The question is if Murray can guard at the mid-major level. He can definitely guard a four on the perimeter right now. In the post, he will need to add upper body strength.
Darryl Baker 6'3 SG Southport-Sunday was the best I've ever seen Baker play. He was in attack mode the whole time and excelled at it. He was impressive. Baker is much more athletic and explosive than he has shown in the past when he would settle for 3's. He played like a MM+ prospect last night.
Josh Sullen 6'4 SG Cathedral- Sullen is a super athlete that has a nice skill set to go with it. His athleticism will allow him to play at any level that he can get his skill set to. Right now, his skill set would allow him to be a MM- player.
Cam Denny 6'6 PF Bedford North Lawrence-Surprise of the second week for me was Denny. He is a good athlete, can run well, handles it well, and can catch and shoot to 19 feet. I look forward to watching him closer over the next few weeks. He should definitely be on mid-major and low-major radars though.
Mike Volovic 5'10 PG Carmel- Volovic is a tough point guard that has the quickness to penetrate and the shooting ability to make you pay if you play off of him. He is a player D2/NAIA/D3 programs need to be on.
Sawyer Glick 6'4 SG Columbus North- Glick is a good shooter with really nice size at 6'4". He had a couple nice finishes in the open court. He is an overall solid player although he isn't very explosive. Low-major stretch prospect right now.
2015
Bronson Kessinger 6'6 SF Corydon Central-Kessinger was probably the most impressive 2015 player the first 2 weeks. His inside/outside skill set is really refined for a player that hasn't played a varsity game yet. To be an elite high-major prospect, he will need to get a little bit more explosive or keep growing. I think he has grown about an inch since May.
Dreon Lewis 6'6 C Northwest-These first two weeks were the first times that I saw Lewis play. I really like his upside. He has good hands, decent post presence for a young, big. He likes to take the 15 foot jumper, but it isn't very developed yet. It seems like he might have a couple more inches yet to grow and that could put him in the HM-/MM+ range down the road.
Joey Morlan 6'3 SF Blackhawk Christian-Morlan is mainly a shooter and a very good one. His size also allows him to get his shot off over defenders. His father is 6'7" and was a good player at IPFW, so Joey has a few things in his favor. The level that he can play at will likely be based on who and how well he can defend.
Josh Speidel 6'7 PF Columbus North-Speidel is a similar player to Kessinger, but not quite as skilled or athletic right now. Speidel is a tiny bit taller though. He has a good feel for the game, can shoot it from the perimeter and will also bang inside. He will be a player for all D1's to keep an eye on to see how he develops.
Anthony Jones 6'3 SG Speedway-Jones is an extremely versatile guard that is athletic enough to guard 4 positions. He also handles the ball well and finishes at the rim. His shooting needs work, but he has the tools to be a MM prospect. {/iACL}
