We have updated all of our 2014 college prospect rankings. There are now over 150 prospects in the rankings. It is an incredibly deep class in the state. Here is a look at the top ten.

#1 Trey Lyles (6'9" PF Indianapolis Tech/Spiece Indy Heat) is a versatile forward that has been at the top of our rankings since the start of high school. He can handle the ball like a guard, and is also a very good shooter for his size. He is a good athlete, but not an elite athlete in terms of explosiveness. Since de-committing from Indiana, Lyles has picked up offers from Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, Louisville, and Michigan State among a host of others.

#2 JaQuan Lyle (6'4" PG Evansville Bosse/Spiece Indy Heat) could easily be the number one player. He has great size for a point guard. He is also one of the best passers in the state. Lyle has sneaky athleticism and occasionally does a dunk that you would not expect from him. He has over 20 high-major offers although he has cut his list to 10, Kentucky, Texas, Louisville, Indiana, Georgetown, Illinois, North Carolina State, Cincinnati, Ohio State, and Tennessee.

#3 James Blackmon, Jr. (6'3" SG Fort Wayne Bishop Luers/Spiece Indy Heat) is the only current committed player (Indiana University) in our top ten. He tore his ACL last season, but has bounced back strongly so far this year. He posted a 38-point effort against Demetrius Jackson and Mishawaka Marian in the opener.

#4 Trevon Bluiett (6'6" SF Park Tudor/Spiece Indy Heat) just keeps producing in a big way and keeps improving. He is a great outside shooter, and is very good with his step-back move off the dribble. He is a true 6-6 now and is now the go-to player for Park Tudor after Yogi Ferrell's graduation. Bluiett seems to have an offer from every college in the midwest.

#5 Mack Mercer (6'9" PF Plymouth/MBA Select) is the first player on the list that is not a for sure high-major prospect. He does hold one offer from a BCS school (Boston College) at this point. The 6-9 forward is extremely skilled, inside and outside. His outside shooting is improving rapidly and he can handle the ball. We believe he will be a high-major player, but he is not an elite athlete and he shies away from contact at times.

#6 Sam Logwood (6'6" SF La Lumiere School/Eric Gordon All-Stars) has unlimited potential. He has size, length, strength, and elite athleticism. It is up to him on determining how good he wants to be with regards to developing his skill set. He recently picked up an offer from Auburn.

#7 P.J. Thompson (5'9" PG Brebeuf Jesuit/Spiece Indy Ice) is undersized for the high-major level, but he is tough, smart, and an excellent leader on the court. He does a great job of delivering the ball where it needs to be, when it needs to be there. Thompson also has the ability to score, proven by his back to back 39 point games against Anderson and Indianapolis Tech. He has offers from Indiana State, Ball State, and IUPUI right now.

#8 Bryant McIntosh (6'3" SG Greensburg/Eric Gordon All-Stars) is a pure scorer. His floater is the best in the state regardless of class. He is a good athlete and a good ball-handler. He currently has nine scholarship offers and New Mexico has been showing a lot of interest recently.

#9 Johnathon Wilkins (6'10" C La Lumiere School/Spiece Indy Heat) is a work in-progress, but he is good on the defensive end and is an efficient rebounder. He is a decent athlete. He runs the floor pretty well for a big man. Wilkins also has pretty good hands and his offensive game is expanding.

#10 Ernie Duncan (6'1" PG Evansville Harrison/Indiana Elite) is a great passer and he is also a very good outsider shooter. He seems to find a way to get by quicker defenders with his strength and change of pace. He was originally verbally committed to Evansville, but de-committed over the summer.
