The Circle City Summer League kicks off at Indianapolis Tech High School on Monday evening. Annually, it gives a glimpse of the upcoming high school season with younger players getting a chance to contribute. Here's a look at the teams, players and schedule for the event this year.

The league will feature a number of college prospects. Indianapolis Tindley has a deep 2018 class led by Eric Hunter. Hunter was offered by Xavier University last month. Tindley also has Hunter White, KJ Coleman, Joe Johnson and others. They will be tough to beat.

Brebeuf returns a lot from last year's team. 2017 point guard Kobie McNeal is back. He's a solid small college prospect. Simon Banks had a good freshman year. He averaged eight points per game. The Braves will be very good under Todd Howard's guidance.

Crispus Attucks has a new coach in Chris Hawkins. The first-year coach will have plenty of talent with Nike Sibande, Zac Owens, Jamal Harris and Teyon Scanlon. They might be the most athletic team in Indianapolis this coming season.

Howe made it to the 2A state championship game this past season. Brian "Kip" Warren graduated and took his tremendous scoring ability with him. Howe returns a number of major contributors like Tony Hopkins and Kycia Washington. Mosi Barnes also returns Joe Rush and Tyler Pannell. Howe should be a force again this upcoming season.

It will be interesting to see who emerges for the host, Indianapolis Tech. The Titans graduated CJ Walker, Chris King and Mario Nalls are gone for Jason Delaney. I believe, Hunter Jackson will be with Tech. He's a 2020 player that has dominated in the middle school ranks.
