Churubusco's Landen Jordan has committed to Huntington University. It's a big pickup for first-year Huntington coach Kory Alford. Jordan has D1 potential, and Alford landed him at the NAIA level. 

Jordan excels as a rim-finishing forward. For Churubusco and Indy Heat-Red, he dominated around the basket as a scorer and rebounder. With his size and athleticism, he is hard to stop at the high school level and that will continue at Huntington. At the NAIA level, there aren't many players like him. Early in his college career, he should make an impact through those physical tools. 

Huntington was the first school to extend a scholarship offer to Jordan. He also had offers from Madonna University, Muskegon CC, and Indiana Tech. With a normal club season, there's little doubt that Jordan would have picked up more college interest. Although a bit raw, Indiana Basketball Source projects him as a solid low D1 prospect.

Churubusco will be one of the top 2A team again. Jordan and Jackson Paul as seniors will be a great duo. Luke Mcclure as a shooter will give Jordan and Paul support. Behind that core, Churubusco should be similar to the 17-6 team they had last year.
