Michael Schlotman is a point guard from Munster High School in Northwest Indiana. He is a heady and tough point guard with good size and quickness. Schlotman scores when he needs to, but his first instinct on the offensive end is to set-up teammates. Who else are you talking with lately?

MS: American, Vermont, Northeastern, Tulsa, Loyola (IL), UIC, Wright State, St. Louis

Have you visited anywhere?

MS: Western Michigan, Wright State, IPFW, William & Mary

Who do you talk to the most?

MS: I’ve been talking to William and Mary’s coaches for awhile now, so I know them really well and the same with Western Michigan. Those are probably my top two right now.

Are you looking for anything specifically in a school?

MS: Strong academics and a nice atmosphere to play in.

Will the level of play or conference the college plays in weigh into your decision?

MS: Yeah, I want to play in a good conference and I think both schools (William & Mary and Western Michigan) have that.

How is your spring with SYF?

MS: It’s going well. Our team is starting to put it together. In July, we should be really good.

Can you give us a breakdown of what you perceive your strengths to be?

MS: I’m a really good ball handler. I can play defense; can get up in ya. I’m a good rebounder for a point guard and I can knock down shots.

Are you looking to improve any part of your game?

MS: Probably my pull-up game and creating my own shot.

Do you have a time table that you would like to make your college decision?

MS: By the end of the summer, after the July period and before school starts. {/iACL}
