2014 point guard PJ Thompson of Brebeuf Jesuit in Indianapolis received the scholarship offer that he has been waiting for on Monday. Purdue extended a scholarship to Thompson. Thompson committed to Purdue on Tuesday, just one day after the offer. Here is more on PJ Thompson.

Scouting Report | Thompson is a crafty point guard. He has a variety of dribble moves and is also a good outside shooter. His height is a downfall as he is likely only 5-9. I've never seen his height be a factor in turnovers though. He had a 3:1 assist to turnover ration in the talented Nike EYBL league this past year. His outside shot has improved over the last couple of years. He plays a scoring role with his high school team, but he can be a playmaker and set-up guy like he did with Spiece Indy Heat. He has some academic work to do. |
