The USA Basketball 17 and under training camp rosters were announced on Thursday. Park Tudor's Jaren Jackson Jr. and New Albany's Romeo Langford received invites to the prestigious national team try-outs. Here's more on the selections.

There were 39 players selected for the training camp. The team will be coached by USA Basketball veteran coach Don Showalter. Half the group is from 2017 and the other half is from 2018. Jackson and Langford have each enjoyed great springs on the travel circuit. Langford has solidified himself as one of the top players in the 2018 class while Jackson has seen his game and stature grow as he performs well on the Nike EYBL circuit. 

Jackson will have his Spiece Indy Heat teammate Brandon Johns at the try-out. Johns is a 2018 forward from Michigan. Gary, Indiana native Darius Garland is on the training camp roster as well. Garland now lives in Brentwood, Tennessee. His father is Winston Garland.
